Advanced Gaming Network | End of Season 4 Official Statement

It is with a faint sense of relief - and a certain sense of accomplishment that I announce the end of the Game Arena Season 3 Battlefield 2142 Ladder. At the start of the season, upon learning that the ladder specifications regarding unlocks would be changed, the decision was made to drop to the bottom of the ladder, from our top 8 position, in order to practice and become more familiar with the new game setting.

It was not a very stable season, for the wins and losses were spread apart, implying a lack of the proper momentum required to get anywhere on this ladder. However, through hard work, dedication and a revamped team list, the Advanced Gaming Network 2142 team has managed to finish off the season nicely with a 3 match win streak. Earlier on in the season we had received humiliating 200+ ticket defeats from two teams in the ladder, The Older Gamers and the Ministry of Gaming Team Fury, we decided, with our new team and new dedication and commitment to succeed to re-challenge these two teams to prove to ourselves that we had improved and were ready for some decent top of the ladder Season 5 action. With wins against both of these teams, only in the past few weeks, after such huge losses against them, has definitely proven our improved form.

While all this was happening, the Advanced Gaming Network underwent a huge reformation. With a new website, a new Team Speak and the formation of two new teams in the realms of Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, we are looking towards a successful and fun filled 2009.

Thanks to the whole team for participating, showing up to training and having fun (because that's what its all about... well, I guess it does get a bit too competitive <_<)
